Low-Maintenance Gardens

Low-maintenance gardens are often misunderstood. No garden is maintenance-free, but good design can dramatically reduce the workload whilst still giving you your dream landscape!

Plant spacing, repetition and suitability are key. Plants that are matched to their conditions require less watering, less pruning and fewer replacements. Mulching, healthy soil and simple seasonal care go a long way.

Maintenance becomes about rhythm rather than constant effort — cutting back once or twice a year, observing, and allowing plants to do what they are designed to do.

A low-maintenance garden supports enjoyment, not obligation.
