Why You’ll Love it
This fine South African Salvia makes a handsome, dense evergreen shrub. The flowers, which are produced in waves throughout spring summer and autumn, are yellow when they first open but soon turn a unique golden brown. The individual flowers are long lasting. Best grown in a well drained sunny spot. Drought tolerant when once established.
Planting & Care Tips
Plant in full sun for best flowering and structure
Requires well-drained soil; performs well in sandy or poorer soils
Water during establishment, then sparingly
Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape
Avoid heavy pruning into old wood; responds best to regular light trims
